About the pics...

Gypsy Wind's mast was in the back yard waiting on her 'redo' for close to a year.  Her mast is 54' long and took up about half the length of our little yard.  The chickens thought it was there JUST for them.

It took a team of guys to get her on a trailer to get her back over to Windward Point.  Thanks, fellows....

Raising the mast was an interesting task.  We could not have done it without the help of our friends.

We DID get to sail her once or twice on the lake.  There were a very nice couple that followed us out on our first 'Full Sail' voyage and took pictures.

But before we knew it, it was time to move her to salt if we were going to keep the 1/01/2011 schedule, so after a few 'test trips' around the lake, she comes back out. and heads to Titusville.

John and Brad spent the first two weeks of December here with her putting her all back together.  Ironically, it only took 2-3 hours to break her down...takes 2-3 weeks to put her all back together.

Tues, Dec. 21, after bottom paint, a new transducer and a couple new through-hulls for a water maker, she goes back to the salt.

Christmas day...we leave for Marathon!  Thanks for the picture, Wayne!

Vero Beach is a really great spot to stop and spend some time.  There is public transportation that picks up at the Marina and conveniently has a stop at West Marine.  We ended up there while they had a record cold day. LOL...I guess that nasty weather followed us down!

Lots of interesting anchorages on the way...a good bit of time in Ft. Lauderdale in Lake Sylvia...THAT is a neat anchorage, too!
